    how in the hell

Been trying to get pitbull rock beast mounted on rc4wd wagon wheels for 6 or 7 hours. Trimmed foam used saliva tried lotion , water. What is the secret to get the bead seated so I can get the wheel together. Never had any trouble with any other tire. My patience is about gone.

I have come to the conclusion I need a wheel that utilizes an actual beadlock ring or its not going to work.

certain tires like pitbulls and prolines do not like certain rims, especially RC4WD stuff. the way the beads are made on prolines is very frustrating to mount on many different rims. i actually had to buy vanquish inner rings to use my pitbull growlers on RC4WD wheels.

Vanquish of course at that price they should work with anything, i have personally had them on Vanquish, losi's, Motoworx, Axial, RC4WD DC2's with a vanquish inner ring, Gearhead ute's. i didnt try them on my SSD's my pro-line tsl's are on them. i have seen them on the pro-line rims and locked up rc wheels

Thanks for the info. Pretty much any wheel that has beadlock rings. What is different from rc4wd inner ring and vanquish inner ring ?

not necessarily a wheel using a bead lock ring my VP's and RC4WD dont use a beadlock ring. i would be more than happy to also try my SSD wheel (non beadlock ring wheel) on a rock beast just so we know. here is the thread i did covering the use of the VP inner ring http://westcoastrccrawlers.com/showt...l-1-9-Growlers

edit: i just saw several post over on RCC where people have mounted different pitbull tires to the SSD wheel with no problems

The problem I had was I could not get the two pieces of the wheel close enough to use allen screws. When I did a bead would pop out everytime. Any way I orderedvsome rc4wd tires and looking around for a set of wheels with beadlock rings for the pitbull tires. Thanks again for the info.
