    Tutorial: How to post pictures.

Here is a quick and easy way to post pics on the forums:

    1. Click reply to a post and you should see this:

    quickreply.jpg

The add "image" icon is available in quick reply but you can also click Go Advanced at the bottom for additional "tools" and smileys:

    quickreply.jpg

After you click Go Advanced, you will see this screen. Go ahead and type your message and then at the top you will see the tool bar. Next click on the "image" icon:

    goadvanced.jpg

That will bring you to this screen which will ask you where you wish to upload the pic from.
You have two choices here. 1st option is from a URL and that is for images you have stored on the web somewhere like photobucket, Flickr, shutterfly, etc

    FromURL.jpg

2nd option you can click is from your computer's hard drive

    FromPC.jpg

once you select one of those two choices, simply locate your file, click upload, and your file will be placed into your post. You will now be ready to hit reply to thread and your pic should post up.

PLEASE NOTE ANY IMAGE LARGER THAN 1600X1200 WILL NOT UPLOAD!!

Please size your image lower than that to upload.
    Don't forget to have fun!

Very nice write up. Tho I still think just copy and paste the URL link from photo bucket ( if you have it ) is faster. But for those that need direction, great job helpin those folks.

I thought I used that method a couple weeks ago, but wound up with thumbnail sized photos. Dunno. Have to play more with it next time. I mean, if Big Dude can do it...

Thats actually the way I do it personally but this is for beginners who are not sure of that method.

You are correct Bill. That was due to an error on my part in the forum settings. Should all be set now. Please try and lmk if not. Thanks, Jim.

    To Illeagle,
Thanks for the information. All I need to do now is figure out how to go from Kodak Easy Share camera to computer.
