    2012/2013 Comp Season Schedule




    Some things that we need to live by as a club.
    ~ Pick up your TRASH People , Help us keep our Crawl Spots Clean. there will be trash bags at every course! use them
    ~ Please do not wait until the end of the day to run your courses.
    ~ Please remember that Judges are going to make mistakes but it's ok, we're playing with toys and having a great time !
    ~ No drugs or alcohol at any event will be tolerated
    ~ and most important rule we have is "Let's have some FUN"


    2012 Annual Series Fee’s
    New Member Fee $30
    Renew Member $20


    Per Comp Fee
    Club Members $5 a class, with a $10 cap per competitor (4 class max)
    Non-Member $10 a class

    Club Memberships must be paid by the 2nd Competition to qualify for WCRCC Series Points Program.

    Super Class
    2.2 Pro Class
    2.2s Class
    2.2 Sportsman Class
    1.9 Mini Class
    1.9 Scale Rig Class
    2.2 Rock Race course, at specific events
    Bonus course, time trial DO WORK Driver!

    *If running 2.2 Pro and any other class, the Pro class must be run first on course

    Series Point Info for our 2012 Series
    Only people that have paid their Club Dues will receive Series Points

    When tallying the series scores you'll receive the points for the actual position you finish.
    The best score on each course will also get one bonus series point.
    The Club Member with the Most Series Points Wins.
    Points per Comp
    1st = 100
    2nd = 95
    3rd = 90
    4th = 85
    5th = 80
    6th = 75
    7th = 70
    8th = 65
    9th = 60
    10th = 55
    11th = 50
    12th = 45
    13th = 40
    14th = 35
    15th = 30
    16th to Last = 25

    ~ No 20 Point Progression
    ~ No Time Limit on Repairs

    Course Format (unless otherwise announced at comp)
    New 15 Gate format
    Start gate will be green
    Gates 1 through 9 will be yellow/light green markers
    Gate 10 will be red markers. Complete progress to finish course/stop time
    Gates 11-15 will be bright pink/red worth -2
    Any bonus gates will be blue markers and worth -10 points, only 1 set of blue gates will be allowed per course


    Judging
    Judging will be done by ALL Club Members in a round robin format
    we will still accept any individual who wants to volunteer to judge a course for the full day


    Event Itinerary
    7am Course Setup, People are encouraged to help set up courses to insure Fresh layouts at every comp, please get with our course designer the day of the event for direction.
    8am Sign-up and Tech Inspection
    8:30-8:45 Judges and Drivers Meeting
    12:00 30 Minute Lunch Break
    same 4 Courses for all 2.2 classes, 1.9 mini and 1.9 scale (unless manpower and attendance require different)
    3 Courses Super Class
    1 Course 2.2 Rock Race (at specific locations)




    Tentative Schedule for 2012/2013 Series
    All Competitions are Scheduled for the First Saturday of each Month
    If for some reason we need to reschedule it will automatically be the following Saturday
    Comp Locations subject to change.

    There's no better way to start off a new season but with a new location !

    I don't want the same old place that's been comped 3 to 15 times or more !


    Bear mountain is just what we need.

    I could go for any of the above but Horsemans definately sounds good, I dont think I have comped there with you guys yet, Cougar Buttes always sounds good as well because thats the closest to YV Really though, any place will suffice cause we will be having fun with good peeps!!

    Man this is exciting! Can't wait to participate in the comps, almost got my rig together, my first season!

    My goal is to finish mid field! If i can do this in the company of this club i will be super stoked!

    Ill put my votes in for the Buttes, Horsemans, and leguna seca. Those are my favorites.

    Ill be there no matter what so what ever is fine with me.

    My favorite sites are at the Buttes...but I think a mid-winter date would work best there. I'll bet there's some "NEW" there too.

    Passage from the Official rules


    2.5- Class 4 Class 2.2s:
    ▪ 2.5.1 - Vehicle wheelbase is limited to a maximum of 12.5 inches.
    ▪ 2.5.2 - Vehicle track width is limited to a maximum of 12.5 inches. This is determined by measuring
    the bottom of the outer most edge of the front and rear tires while the vehicle is sitting on level ground.
    ▪ 2.5.3 - Vehicle is limited to 2.2 inch wheels/rims or smaller at the bead surface. Wheels may be modified, provided that the tire bead surface does not exceed 2.2 inches in diameter. With a tire mounted, no exterior component of the wheel, including but not limited to, the bead lock ring shall exceed 2.55". Tires may be modified from other sized tires using only a pliable rubber, but must not exceed a total uncompressed outer diameter of 6 inches.
    ▪ 2.5.4 - Vehicles are limited to 2-wheel steering only.
    ▪ 2.5.5 - Bodied Vehicles only. (See Sec. 2.3.6) Bodiless vehicles are prohibited.
    2.5.6 - Vehicles are limited to the use of 2 radio channels (one for steering & one for throttle) only. Neither channel can be used to perform more than one function. Radio systems with more than 2 channels are allowed, but only 2 channels may be used to control the vehicle.
    ▪ 2.5.7 - Vehicles are limited to 1 ESC, 1 Motor & 1 servo only.
    ▪ 2.5.8 - Bodied vehicles must be 3 minimum height on sides. No less than 12.5
    total length and full original
    width, and no less than 5 in center.

    Sportsman Class Rules Guidelines
    Sportsman Class is a fun class intended for local drivers enjoyment.

    ▪ 1- Drivers are require to have fun!

    ▪ 9 - (OPTIONAL) Vehicles are limited to 1 motor powering both of the axles. this was the MOA option we allowed as long as it used 1 esc
